Many struggling Florida homeowners don’t know about the Homeowner Assistance Funds from the American Rescue Plan. This money – up to $50,000 per household – is available to help families financially impacted by the pandemic to pay for things like mortgage payments, homeowner insurance, property taxes, and utility bills.
Florida was allocated $676 million for this program, and as of March of this year, the program is up and running through Florida’s Department of Economic Opportunity.
